The TESS telescope detected a hot Jupiter-class exoseiora with an unusual orbit.
Astronomers led by scientists from the University of Pennsylvania announced the discovery of an unusual exosayora belonging to the hot Jupiter class TOI-1859 B, which, stretching around the star, rotates along the oblique orbit.
The results of the observation were reported in preliminary conclusions published on the archival site of the touching of Cornell University in the United States.Observations of TOI-1859, a star 30 percent larger than the sun, were made using the TESS space telescope, which searches for exosciences based on "parent" star brightness changes. This approach is called the transit method, and so far the spacecraft has identified about 6,600 candidate objects, 333 of which have been confirmed to be exosciores.
