A major achievement of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan is the receipt of international status

One of the major and significant achievements of the teaching and student staff of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan in 2022 is the transformation of the educational institution into a university on the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, as well as obtaining international status. In general, 2022 was successful and memorable for teachers and students, is full of significant achievements in the field of education, methodological, scientific and innovative, international and organizational and educational relations. This was announced today at a press conference by the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan Ubaidullo Asorzoda.

He added that last year, by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Levakant Professional Lyceum of Industry and Chemistry, as well as the Khujand Vocational Lyceum, were transferred to the balance of the university. This makes it possible to train highly qualified personnel at the initial, secondary and higher professional levels.

Ubaidullo Asorzoda said that during this period, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Dissertation Council was established in the specialties "Economics of Tourism", "Economics of Entrepreneurship" and "Marketing".

Within the framework of cooperation between the university and the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic, the Dushanbe Tourist Information Center was established and equipped with modern equipment for servicing tourists. Also, as part of the development of grant projects and funds of the university, the material and technical base was strengthened, one computer was provided for every three full-time students, the total number of university computers was brought to 1104 units.

The rector of the institution said that in order to strengthen the language skills of teachers and students, free classes in foreign languages were organized at the university, in which 150 teachers and almost 500 students were involved in language learning. Last year, teachers and students of the university actively participated in city Olympiads, republican competitions, taking pride of place, which is the pride of the university.
