A branch of "Mehrli Maktab" was opened in Karakalpakstan

The press service of "Zamin" International Public Foundation reports that a hospital-type "Mehrli Maktab" branch has been opened in the clinic of the Karakalpakstan Medical Institute.

It was reported that Ziroat Mirziyoyeva visited the place, familiarized herself with the created conditions, had a sincere conversation with the children, and expressed words of encouragement to the pedagogue and parents.

"Mehrli Maktab" state educational institution was established in May 2022 by the decision of the government. In it, children who have been treated for a long time and who do not have the opportunity to attend a regular school or kindergarten receive education and upbringing. They also go through the rehabilitation process here with the participation of their parents.

According to the government's decision "On measures to further expand the system of education and upbringing of children undergoing hematology, oncology, clinical immunology, other inpatient and long-term outpatient treatment" branches of "Mehrli Maktab" 2023-2028 It is planned to be organized gradually in the years, but every year in at least 3 regions.

According to the Foundation's message, branches of "Mehrli Maktab" will be opened in Andijan and Fergana by the end of the year.
