400,000 rupees are being distributed in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, a new banknote — 400 thousand rubles-is circulating on social networks. The central bank provided information on these reports.

According to him, the news about the 400,000 kopyura, which is spreading on social networks and causing discussions, does not correspond to reality. In this photo, the design of a replica of 100,000 rubles can be seen. The head of the Information Service of the central bank noted that if a new banknote is issued, it will be officially announced.

In 2021, 6 of the 7 banknotes in circulation in Uzbekistan were updated. In particular, 50,000 and 100,000 from 27 December 2021, 2,000 and 20,000 from 14 June, and 5,000 and 10,000 from 26 August were issued in new form.

In June 2022, the central bank announced the national currency — the symbol of the SOM. However, the SOM symbol was met with public outcry.
