V Samarkand iz Kitaya privezut 350 electric buses

A $95 million project will be implemented to purchase 350 electric buses for the city of Samarkand and create the appropriate infrastructure in the region. This project, which will be implemented between the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Samarkand Regional Government and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, will be implemented in two stages. At the moment, work on the first stage is underway. According to it, it is planned to purchase the first 100 electric buses with a length of 10.5 meters and build an electric bus fleet. According to the results of the tender for the purchase of 100 electric buses, the Chinese company Yutong Bus Co. Ltd. was the winner. The company announced that it will deliver 6 out of 100 electric buses in the first half of this year, and the remaining 94 by the end of the third quarter.
