Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan began the construction of a new automobile plant

Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan began construction of a new avtmobil plant. In the first phase, 10,000 cars are produced there annually. This was reported by The Information Service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.

A factory named "Altin tulpar una kurulush “stands on the territory of the village” Ak-Suu" of Chuy province. More than a thousand new jobs will be created here.

"Today, friendship between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan has reached a new level. Mutual visits are carried out, which is confirmed by agreements to strengthen and expand multifaceted cooperation between our countries. Today, the laying of a capsule for the assembly of light cars and the construction of a production plant is also proof of this. This is a project of strategic importance for both countries,” said the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aqilbek Japarov.

Following the state visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan in January, a number of documents were signed between the leaders of the two countries and representatives of the government. Among them was the” cooperation agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the establishment of the production of automobile and commercial equipment in the Kyrgyz Republic".

According to Aynura Usenbekova, Deputy Minister of economy and trade, the plant is authorized to produce 19 models, and the first machine to be produced will be Cobalt.
