The voting process for the project "My Way" is completed

The voting process for the current year's season of the project” My Way“, published on the information portal” open budget", has been completed. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and finance.

The district (city) budgets received 10,317 initiative proposals for the Republic for this season of the project, which was created in order to ensure that at least 50 percent of the funds planned for the repair of territorial internal roads are directed on the basis of citizen opinion.

It was noted that 517 projects were considered winners according to the results of the voting process, which lasted from April 27 to May 7, 18:00. The voting process was actively attended by 8,93,918 citizens across the Republic.

When analyzed in the cross section of Regions, the most winning projects in these processes fell on the contribution of Tashkent region (55), The Republic of Karakalpakstan (54), Samarkand (40) and Andijan (40) regions.

412.40 billion will be allocated to finance the winning projects in the Republic.

Based on this decision, in order to further increase the participation of citizens in the expenditure of budget funds and improve the quality of existing internal roads in the country, since 2022, 50% of the funds allocated for the repair of territorial internal roads in the parameters of district and city budgets will be directed to the repair of internal roads determined on the basis of public opinion This system is conducted once a year, as opposed to “Initiative budget” processes.

These processes are carried out directly through the information portal “open budget", in which the information portal is fully entered by the location (geoposition), full names, length, condition (paved, repaired) and other information of internal roads, and citizens will have the opportunity to leave their proposals by choosing the appropriate internal route based on geomata from the Register of internal roads.
