The time from Tashkent to Nukus is reduced from 16 to 7 hours

Three districts in Karakalpakstan specialize in tourism. A high-speed train service from Tashkent to Nukus is established, and the time to reach the destination is reduced from 16 hours to 7 hours. Kun.uz according to the correspondent, this was mentioned by presidential candidate Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a meeting with Karakalpakstan voters.
According to the president in his campaign program, the railway lines “Bukhara-Urganch-Khiva” with a length of 465 kilometers and “Miskin-Nukus” with a length of 196 kilometers will be electrified for this. $ 460 million will be directed to the project.

When the line is started, Karakalpakstan will also join the traditional tourist chain “Tashkent – Samarkand – Bukhara – Khiva”.

“As a result, it will be possible to ensure that foreign and domestic tourists stay in our country for up to 4-5 days, bringing the export of tourist services to $ 100 million,” Mirziyoyev said.

According to the candidate, the districts of Ellikqal'a, Qoğnot and Moğnok specialize in tourism. Road and trade infrastructure will be expanded in fourkol, Beruniy, Amudaryo, Khojayli, Qonlikol, Qonqot.
