The Taliban Foreign Ministry reacted to the unrest in Pakistan that began after the arrest of former prime minister Imran Khan. This was reported by Hasht-e Subh Daily.
The Afghan interim government had recorded regret over what was happening. The Taliban have stated that they have provided the necessary instructions to their diplomatic missions and consulates in Pakistan to protect their Afghans. In the case, the government of a neighboring state was advised that stability is in the interest of the people and that tolerance should be chosen.
Recall that the arrest of Imran Khan in Pakistan caused a wave of large-scale protests by supporters of Tehreek-e-Insaf, which led to a deterioration of the political-security situation in the country. The government had sent an army unit to the city in an attempt to quell protests in Islamabad, with restrictions on internet use across the country.
