Roba Mahmudova from the "Adolat" SD party was approved as a presidential candidate for consideration at the party's congress.

For information, since July 2020, Robakhon Mahmudova has been working as the first deputy chairman of the Supreme Court - the chairman of the court collegium on criminal cases.

Robakhan Mahmudova was born in 1968 in Fergana region. He worked as a judge of the Supreme Court until 2008. From 2017 to 2020, he headed the public lobby of the President of Uzbekistan in the Fergana region. He was elected as a senator in January 2020 and is currently the chairman of the Committee on Science, Education and Health Affairs of the Upper House of the Oliy Majlis.
