On May 21-22 this year, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov will pay a working visit to Russia. He will hold talks with Sergey Lavrov.
Maria Zakharova, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, informed about this.
According to Zakharova, bilateral political cooperation based on strategic partnership and alliance, as well as many topical issues of a trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian nature are expected to be discussed at the meeting.
According to the information provided by the Russian Embassy in Uzbekistan, the ministers will exchange views on the regional situation, taking into account the coordinated contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation, as well as to the maintenance of stability and security in the Central Asian region.
It is also planned to consider the main integration processes in the Eurasian space, as well as problems of common importance for the countries of the continent.
