On May 10 of this year, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a reception breakfast. Representative offices of international organizations and foreign missions in Uzbekistan were invited to the event.
The event was opened with a solemn speech by the Minister of Culture and Tourism O. Nazarbekov. In his speech, the minister talked about the activities carried out based on the goals and tasks set before the ministry and its structures, including tourism education in Samarkand, the role of women in tourism, ecotourism, gastronomic tourism, IT technologies, tourism in the field of tourism. touched on the plan of important international events on the establishment of the "think tank".
The following issues were discussed at the event:
Cooperation in culture, art, cinema, tourism and other fields;
Promotion of the next session of the General Assembly in leading foreign mass media;
Attracting representatives of foreign countries to the General Assembly and the "Investment Forum in the field of Tourism", "European Union-Central Asia First Tourism Forum" and other events within its framework;
Setting specific deadlines for the restoration of the "Silk Road" brand for the development of the UNWTO.
Likewise, each diplomat had a separate dialogue, discussed the directions of cooperation in the field of culture and tourism, and determined future tasks.
