Sokog samsa, a delicacy from the Soqog village of Parkent district of Tashkent region, has been registered as a geographical indication by the Ministry of Justice.
This samsa is distinguished by its unique taste and dough, which is prepared using a special method, and is made from the “mador” plant or spinach that grows only in the Soqog mountains.
