Last year, the Kremlin did not invite anyone because it was our holiday. A military parade dedicated to "Victory Day" on May 9 will be held in Moscow, the capital of Russia. In Uzbekistan, it is celebrated as "Day of Remembrance and Appreciation". Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Kazakhstan Kasim-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the parade. It is noteworthy that at first it was reported that Rahmon planned to participate in the festive event in Dushanbe. However, an hour later, the press service of the president of Tajikistan announced that he was flying to Moscow. Thus, 5 heads of state will go to Moscow this year. All of them received invitations from Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the same time, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the Kremlin will not send any special invitations because the 78th anniversary of the end of World War II is not an anniversary date. It should be noted that in 2022, not a single state leader was invited to the parade. "No one was invited," Peskov said in response to journalists' questions. Noting that this is not an anniversary date, as it is now. "May 9 is our holiday, a holy holiday for all Russians," he said.
