New kindergartens will be built in regions with a dense population in Uzbekistan

Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the presentation of proposals for improving the preschool education system. This was reported by the press service of the president.

It is noted that 1,200,000 seats have been created in the last five years due to the construction of 422 public kindergartens and the opening of more than 21,000 non-governmental institutions. The system had a child coverage rate of 72%.

At the same time, in open dialogues held on the premises, the population expressed a desire to further increase the number of kindergartens.Basically, proposals have been developed by the Ministry of preschool and school education to organize the process of preschool education in a new order.

The presentation informed about measures to further improve the preschool education system, increase quality and coverage in kindergartens, introduce advanced foreign experiences in this regard. In particular, in areas with a dense population or low coverage, new public kindergartens will be built and the private sector will be expanded. Preparatory groups are organized in schools that operate at low power.

The head of state paid special attention to the fact that this sphere is important for creating relief for women and raising children. Officials were instructed to improve the quality of education, improve programs, take public-private partnerships to a new level. It was tasked with developing a five-year program to expand the reach of preschool education.
