Melon ripened in the field in Surkhandarya

Melons and watermelons ripened in the field of Sherabad district of Surkhandarya region. This was reported by the information service of the district administration.

It is noted that among the rows of pomegranate orchards, farmers cultivated 10 hectares of early ripening melons of the "Dakara" variety and 10 hectares of "Dolbe" watermelons.

Seeding of melons of this variety began on January 3, and transplanting was carried out from February 20 to March 4. 30 tons of melons and 60 tons of watermelons are expected to be harvested from 1 hectare of land.
