In January-March 2023, Uzbekistan imported 10,489 cars worth 283.7 million US dollars from foreign countries. This was reported by the Statistics Agency.

It is noted that the import of passenger cars increased by 1,981 compared to the same period last year. Uzbekistan imported cars from 19 countries in 3 months.

South Korea — 3,643;
USA — 460;
Hong Kong - 187;
Japan - 81;
Germany - 59;
Austria - 14;
UAE - 13.
Import of cars
1,668 electric cars were imported to Uzbekistan in January-March 2023. Also, in March, it was reported that the sales of new passenger cars produced abroad increased significantly. In a month, the number of transactions on "inomarka" increased by 15% and reached 2.9 thousand units. In February, the sale of electric cars was 746 units, setting a record.
