From June 1, the program “20 thousand entrepreneurs – 500 thousand qualified specialists” will be implemented

Under the presidency of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a video session is being held on measures to reduce poverty and bring employment work to a new level.

It was shown that 200 billion is allocated to vocational training every year, but these funds do not connect with the need of entrepreneurial subjects for specialists.

Similarly, an entrepreneur is forced to train thousands of specialists for himself, at a huge cost per year. But in this, state support is needed. 

The president noted the need to create more extensive opportunities for entrepreneurship and provide financial incentives in order to ensure the employment of the population and increase the efficiency of training qualified specialists. 

For this purpose, from June 1, the program “20 thousand entrepreneurs – 500 thousand qualified specialists” will be implemented. A total of $ 1 billion will be allocated to the program in 2023-2024.

This is at the expense of funds:

- a loan is issued at lower interest rates and for a longer period of time, depending on the importance of the project to train and make a member of poor families work by profession;

- the costs of organizing and equipping the “practical monomark” of the entrepreneur and training in the profession are fully covered.
