External labor migration warned citizens who want to work abroad against certain organizations and appealed to them.
According to him, in order to create additional opportunities for citizens who want to work abroad, private employment agencies (PEAs) were allowed to operate in the country from 2018. However, during the past period, cases of fraud and abuse of trust of citizens were committed by some IBAs.
In order to prevent such negative situations, amendments and additions were made to the Law "On Private Employment Agencies", and from November 14, 2020, serious changes were introduced in their activities. According to the current regulations:
IBA with a license to employ citizens abroad may not charge more than one times the BHM, i.e. 330,000 soums, for information and consulting services;
also, it is forbidden to provide services to citizens without concluding contracts with foreign employers and partners, and these contracts must be posted on the official website of the ILO.
Over the past period, 118 legal entities have been registered in the IBA register, and currently 9 of them have a license to employ citizens abroad.
In this regard, it is urged not to trust organizations or individuals who do not have the authority to employ abroad, not to conclude contracts of various forms and not to make payments.
"Make sure that the organizations offering work abroad have a license. When entering into a contract, read and fully understand its terms and sign. If you encounter conflict situations with the IBA, you can contact the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment," the report said.
