Emergency doctors in Surkhandarya region have started using electric scooters as a test. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
It is reported that on average more than 3,000 calls come to the Surkhandarya regional branch of the Republican Emergency Medical Center in one day. Most of the requests are from 17:00 to 01:00.
"It is important to provide timely first aid to patients at such a critical time. Therefore, the use of electric scooters as an innovative solution to this problem was introduced in the regional "Ambulance" service.
Although electric scooters do not have the comforts of modern ambulances, they are a vehicle that can easily navigate traffic and difficult areas.
This will help doctors reach their destination without delay and provide first aid to non-critical patients on time," the report said.
Electric scooters given to doctors have a special chemo-box, which contains all the medicines and equipment for providing first aid to patients.
It is noted that the on-call paramedic works according to the situation. If the patient's condition is satisfactory, he will help him and give recommendations. If the patient's condition is serious, Mabodo will immediately call an ambulance.
