A monthly surcharge of up to 50 percent will be introduced for teachers with high results

At a meeting of the Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party faction in the Legislative Chamber, a report of the Cabinet of Ministers on the results of the first quarter of 2023 of the implementation of the State Program for the implementation of the development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 in the "Year of Human Care and Quality Education" was heard.
In order to introduce a new system of remuneration for workers in the field of vocational education, a draft presidential decree "On the introduction of an improved system of remuneration for employees of vocational educational institutions and strengthening their financial incentives" was developed.

This document provides for an increase in the salaries of teachers working in professional educational institutions by an average of 20%, as well as the introduction of a system of monthly allowances up to 50% to the basic tariff rates for dedicated, proactive and productive teachers.

At the meeting, the deputies positively assessed the work done to provide information and library services to the population, popularize reading and implement the national idea "Kitobsevar Millat (Reading Nation)".

After discussions, the deputies approved the report of the Cabinet of Ministers.
