He noted that the Day of Gratitude reminds us that in the most difficult times our people maintained unity and cohesion, remained faithful to high humanistic ideals, invariably showed mercy and compassion. Today, in the context of unprecedented global challenges and large-scale transformations in our country, mutual support and responsibility of each citizen for a common future are of particular importance. On this festive day, I want to express my sincere gratitude to my compatriots for their honest work and active patriotism! I am convinced that by strengthening national unity, we will be able to overcome any difficulties and build a fair, prosperous Kazakhstan. I wish all fellow citizens good health, happiness and prosperity!" the President said. As previously reported, the holiday was established in 2016. Gratitude Day is celebrated on March 1. The choice of this day is explained by the fact that on March 1, 1995, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was established in Kazakhstan.
