The Exhibition Center of Ashgabat hosts an exposition of artists

A good tradition timed to coincide with the International Women's Day was the competitive exposition in the Exhibition Center of Turkmenistan, which can only be attended by the fair sex. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age".

This year, works of fine art were presented at the exhibition by more than two hundred artists from Ashgabat and various velayats of the country.

The conditions for participation in the competition are very democratic: women could present their works regardless of the rank of art education.

On two floors of the Exhibition Center of the capital, the organizers of the competition placed more than three hundred works by Turkmen artists. Among the works are paintings and drawings, ceramic sculptures and works of jewelry art.

Thanks to the free theme of the competition, the artists were able to follow the path of full self-expression, not limited by artificial frameworks. Among the contest works there were many canvases on which the image of the mother was captured. No less popular was the children's theme, many artists performed in the genre of floristry, presenting paintings with floral still lifes.
