Shavkat Mirziyoyev awards Rustam Emomali the Order of “Fidokorona xizmatlari uchun”

On November 4 this year, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded Rustam Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan, the Order of “Fidokorona xizmatlari uchun” for his contribution to strengthening strategic partnership and allied relations between the two countries.

On the same day, the head of state received Rustam Emomali, who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit. At the beginning of the meeting, the Chairman of the upper house of the Tajik parliament conveyed greetings and best wishes from Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

During the talks, the sides discussed further development of friendship, good-neighborly relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The parties noted the growing volume of bilateral trade and cargo transportation, as well as the implementation of joint projects in industry, construction, energy, agriculture and electrical engineering.
