A 32-year-old man, who was beaten and buried alive by a group of individuals in the Payariq district of the Samarkand region, has died after spending 28 days in a coma in the hospital. This was reported on the program "Millar."

According to reports, a man named Sherbek was leaving an eatery with an acquaintance and heading home when a white Spark automobile blocked their path. Individuals got out of the vehicle, struck him on the head with a piece of rebar, and also assaulted his acquaintance.

Following this, Sherbek—who had sustained severe bodily injuries—was forced into a vehicle and taken to an uninhabited area. He was discovered in critical condition at the site where he had been buried, approximately three kilometers from the center of the neighborhood.

The victim’s brother stated that his brother had been struck on the head with rebar and pieces of concrete, and that the assailants had also attempted to strangle him with a wire. At the hospital, more than three liters of blood were drained from his lungs. Following the victim's death, the legal classification of the case was updated to Article 104, Part 3, Clause "d" [of the Criminal Code].

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and the suspects have been placed in custody as a preventive measure. The Investigation Department under the Regional Internal Affairs Directorate is currently conducting investigative actions. Furthermore, the details of the conflict that led to the attack have not yet been disclosed.
