Sadyr Zhaparov laid flowers at the monument to the memory of those who died for the freedom of the people during the Aksy events of 2002 and the April events of 2010 on the central square of Ala-Too. This was reported by the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan.

The event was attended by The Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurlanbek Shakiev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Zhaparov, Head of the Supreme Court Zamirbek Bazarbekov, Chairman of the Constitutional Court Emil Oskonbayev, State Secretary Suyunbek Kasmambetov and Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov.

Earlier, the head of state Sadyr Zhaparov made an appeal to the Kyrgyz people on the occasion of the day of remembrance of the Aksy events.
