On the square "Istiqlol" of Dushanbe there is a dish with sumanak growths

 At the initiative of the Executive Body of State Power of the city of Dushanbe, a symbol of spring and Navruz was installed next to the statue of the Architectural Complex of Istiqlol Square of the capital - a dish with sumanak growths 30 meters high and 16 meters wide, the State Institution "Outdoor Advertising and Decoration of the City of Dushanbe" told NIAT Khovar.

Next to the dish with the sprouts of sumanak there are other decorations characteristic of this holiday, and around - various flowers and decorations. The inscription "Congratulations on Nowruz!" gave this place additional beauty.

Recall that in 2019, in coordination with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, the symbol of the International Holiday of Navruz and the national New Year was approved.

The symbol is a Christmas tree consisting of seven plates. All plates consist of circles signifying the movement of the firmament. Each circle is decorated with national ornaments. Around the plates there are various patterned embroidery, on the last plate the sumanak is depicted as a sign of the revival of nature.

Based on the conclusion of Tajik scientists, ethnographers, folklorists and other scientists of the Navruz area in the republic, among the symbols of Navruz, consisting of a snowdrop, a tulip, a Navruz flower, a tree branch with a bud, a mythical bird Simurg and a swallow, the sumanak and the flower of Navruz were chosen as a symbol of the celebration of International Navruz, the national New Year and the onset of a beneficial spring. In the future, the sumanak and the flower of Navruz will be used as a symbol for the celebration of the national New Year and Navruz International.

It should be noted that sumanak is popular in all regions of Tajikistan and is prepared as a symbol of prosperity and prosperity on the eve of the national New Year and Navruz International. Sumanak also represents the emergence of agriculture and agriculture among the Aryan tribes, the attitude and love of the dehkanin to wheat, which gives daily bread. Cooking sumanak in rounded dishes is also a symbol of space and earth, the eternity of nature and man.

Sumanak is a symbol of the life and culture of tajiks. All dishes prepared on Nowruz are usually prepared from wheat or barley. Sumanak is the best example of these.
