Informatics and Information Technology Science will be introduced in Uzbekistan for 1st grade students

In Uzbekistan, Informatics and information technology will be introduced for students of the 1st grade from the new academic year. 

This is stated in the order of the minister of preschool and school education "on approval of the basic training plan for general secondary schools for the 2023/2024 academic year". According to him, the Republican educational center was instructed to develop appropriate calendar-theme plans based on the base curriculum for a month, to introduce a proposal to the ministry for the implementation of the methodology of teaching 1st grade Informatics and information technology science, curriculum, state educational standards and calendar-theme plans for a week.

Also, A.National Research Institute for professional development and training of educators in new methodologies named after Avloni:

development of a program of short-term training courses for primary school teachers on teaching and teaching 1st grade Informatics and Information Technology on the basis of modern methodologies;
development and approval of a graph of coverage of primary school teachers in general secondary schools for short-term training courses, teaching 1st grade Informatics and Information Technology;
Until August 25, 2023, the tasks of coordinating the effective organization of short-term training courses on the content and essence of the science of Informatics and information technology were assigned to primary school teachers.
