In Uzbekistan, heads of state bodies are trained in special courses at the State Administration Academy

A government decision was adopted on measures to improve the qualifications of employees responsible for the development of information and communication technologies of the republican and local executive authorities and to organize a rating assessment. This was reported by the "Legal Information" channel on Telegram.

According to the decision, from July 1, 2023, employees of state bodies responsible for the field of ICT will improve their qualifications once in 3 years.

The Ministry of Digital Technologies is responsible for training these employees. The training course should not be less than 24 hours, the employees who have completed the course will undergo rating evaluation in two months.

All expenses related to qualification improvement are covered by the funds of the state bodies that sent them.

From August 1, 2023, the first heads of state bodies will be trained in short-term courses at the Academy of Public Administration on the wide introduction of digital technologies and effective implementation of projects.

At the beginning of May, it was announced that the issue of training state civil servants and employees of the judicial system according to the new version of the Constitution is envisaged. In particular, the State Service Development Agency, the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Council of Judges, together with law enforcement agencies, were assigned the task of approving the training plan for state civil servants and employees of the judicial system within a month.
