” German companies are very interested in investing in Uzbekistan " — Falk Porshe, executive director of the German – Uzbek Business Council

Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Germany on may 2-3. In accordance with the visit program, special attention will be paid to the implementation of promising projects and programs aimed at expanding innovative and technological partnerships with leading German companies. 

Falk Porshe, executive director of the German-Uzbek Business Council, expressed his views on cooperation between the two countries in the field of entrepreneurship. 

Falk Porshe said that the economy of Uzbekistan is developing rapidly. 

"Combining our competitive advantages provides great opportunities for business development. Therefore, last year we launched the first and only fiber glass manufacturing plant in Central Asia. The next promising joint programs are waiting for us. The economy of Uzbekistan is developing steadily, the interest of foreign investors is high,” he said.

The expert said that in recent years, the business environment has improved, noting that large-scale reforms have been carried out at the initiative of the president of Uzbekistan. 

"The future visit of the head of Uzbekistan to Germany for the second time will further expand economic relations between our countries. It is also important that the issues of deepening political dialogue, expansion of investment and financial cooperation, activation of cultural, humanitarian, scientific and educational ties, Tourism Exchange are discussed at a high level.
