According to the Seismological Center of the Republic, an earthquake occurred on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan on March 18 at 05:01 local time. This is reported by NIAT "Khovar" with reference to the Committee on Emergency Situations and Civil Defense under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the Committee, the epicenter of the earthquake was located 260 kilometers south-east of Dushanbe.
The force of the shock in the epicenter was 3-4 points, in Dushanbe — 2 points.
No casualties and destruction were registered.
