Today, June 19 - Monday is the 1st day of Zul Hijjah. This was reported by the Office of Muslims of Uzbekistan. Taking into account that Eid al-Adha is celebrated on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, this year this holiday falls on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 AD. Therefore, if the Decree No. PF-270 is amended, all employees will be able to rest for 5 days in a row (June 28, 29, 30, July 1-2). We justify it as follows. According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 23, 2022 No. PF-270 "On determining non-working days and moving holidays during the celebration of official dates in 2023", all for employees (regardless of the type of working week) June 30 — Friday is an additional day off. July 1 - Saturday is an additional day off for employees working a 6-day work week. Taking into account that Eid al-Adha falls on June 28 - Wednesday, we think that, like last time, the Decree No. PF-270 will be amended again and June 29 will be declared as an additional holiday. Taking into account that the first day of Ramadan falls on April 21, 2023, in order to create favorable conditions for the population to properly welcome this holiday and spend it at a high level, PF-58 of April 20, 2023 Decree No. PF-270 was amended. According to him, Monday, April 24, was designated as an additional day off for all employees (regardless of the type of work week). So, if June 29 is declared an additional holiday, all employees (regardless of the type of work week) will be able to have 5 consecutive days off (June 28, 29, 30, 1-2 -July days).
