Well-known publicist Serdar Akiniazov spoke about unique paleontological finds on the territory of the Koytendag State Reserve, which are likely to be included in the prestigious World Heritage List.

The most important find is located at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. About 2500 fossilized dinosaur footprints of the Jurassic period were discovered in the mountains of Koytendaga, which caused a real world sensation.

The find allowed scientists to make assumptions about the size of ancient animals, as well as the terrain and climatic conditions of the region in a distant era.

According to paleontologists, the fossilized traces found on the territory of the reserve belong to dinosaurs of different species - predators and herbivores.
