Yashar Aliyev: Azerbaijan is deeply concerned about what is happening in Ukraine
The Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the UN, Yashar Aliyev, spoke at the XI extraordinary special session of the General Assembly dedicated to Ukraine.
According to the American bureau Report, the diplomat noted that the crisis should be resolved on the basis of the norms and principles of international law governing interstate relations, including respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.
He stated that, along with other member states, Azerbaijan is deeply concerned about what is happening in Ukraine. The diplomat also spoke about the humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to the Ukrainian people.
