"We have not forgotten Nuru Pasha" - these words were written on a box with humanitarian aid from fraternal Azerbaijan for the earthquake zone in Turkey.
According to AZERTAC, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jahit Bagchi wrote about this on his Twitter account.
Recall that on September 15, 1918, the Caucasian Islamic Army led by Nuru Pasha, together with the national military units of the newly created Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, entered Baku and liberated the city from the Armenian-Bolshevik occupiers at the cost of the blood of thousands of martyrs.
