There may be a shortage of AI-95 gasoline in Kazakhstan
There is a trend for the appearance of a shortage of AI-95 gasoline. This was reported to journalists by the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliyev. There is a trend for the appearance of a shortage of 95 gasoline. This is due to the repairs that we carried out at the Shymkent petrochemical plant, as well as the emergency shutdown of the Atyrau refinery," the minister said. According to him, at present the necessary volume has been accumulated at oil depots and factories. Fuel shipment is carried out in accordance with the requests of akimats. In the directions where there is an increased volume of consumption, failures are possible. The deficit will be covered by domestic supplies," Almasadam Satkaliyev said. He noted that a sharp increase in the price of this type of fuel is not expected. AI-95 is an unregulated type of fuel and the tankers themselves have the right to raise prices. We, as the Ministry of Energy, can make recommendations. We are carrying out this work," the head of the Ministry of Energy said. Recall that in early July, a power unit was shut down at the thermal power plant of MAEK LLP, in connection with which restrictions were imposed on industrial enterprises. Due to a power outage, the Atyrau refinery was stopped. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov assured that there will be no shortage of fuel and lubricants. As previously reported, the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant was stopped for scheduled repairs until July 19, the Shymkent refinery was partially stopped for work on the catalytic reforming unit during July 3-14. In connection with the repair at the Shymkent refinery, the possibility of importing gasoline from Russia is being considered.
