The head of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the head of a Japanese university
On September 5, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of the University of Tsukuba (Japan) Kyosuke Nagata. This was reported by the online edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
During the talks, the prospects for further development of the Turkmen-Japanese partnership in the field of education and other areas of mutual interest were noted. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the high productivity of established relations in the cultural, humanitarian, political, diplomatic, trade and economic spheres.
The parties named the development of ties in the scientific and educational sphere, where there are ample opportunities for further expansion of partnership, as the main area of cooperation. To date, the parties have already achieved success in the development of scientific and educational cooperation. The University of Tsukuba fruitfully cooperates with the universities of Turkmenistan, Japanese specialists teach at Turkmen higher educational institutions on exchange and internship programs.
