The head of the Ministry of Economic Development of Tajikistan revealed the indicators of foreign trade turnover
The National Library of Tajikistan hosts the Economic Forum of Central Asian Countries on the topic “Digital Economy, Digital Trade and Innovation”
Foreign trade turnover of Central Asian countries has grown sixfold over 20 years.
This was stated by the Minister of Economic Development of Tajikistan, Zavki Zavkizoda, during the economic forum of the states of the region.
It is noted that, in addition to the growth of foreign trade, other economic indicators have also improved.
“The average annual rate of economic growth was 6.2%,” stated Zavki Zavkizoda.
According to the data announced by the minister, “for comparison, during this period the average annual growth of the global economy was only 2.6%.”
Thus, the National Library of Tajikistan is hosting the Economic Forum of Central Asian Countries on the topic “Digital Economy, Digital Trade and Innovation.”

The event is timed to coincide with the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the region and the next meeting of the Council of Leaders of the Founding Countries of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea.
The event is attended by the ministers of economic development and trade of Tajikistan, the national economy of Kazakhstan, finance and economy of Turkmenistan, as well as innovation, industry and trade of Uzbekistan.
