Tajikistan and Iran expand cooperation in agriculture

On the sidelines of the 25th International Conference on Irrigation and Drainage, the Tajik and Iranian delegations discussed a number of important issues

Iranian Deputy Minister of Agriculture Safdar Niazi Shahraki recently took part in a meeting with the Tajik delegation on the sidelines of the 25th International Conference on Irrigation and Drainage, Voice of Khorasan reports.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to hold an international drainage seminar in Tajikistan, and also discussed expanding cooperation in this direction.

It is noted that the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture will hold an exhibition as part of this seminar, presenting all its experience in this field.

Thus, at this meeting, it was decided that both countries should conduct training seminars as required by the parties for the purpose of exchanging information and knowledge in various fields.

The Tajik and Iranian sides also came to a common agreement on partnership in the production and development of irrigation technology and equipment, as well as equipment with lower energy consumption.
