Sadr Japarov's visit to Mongolia ends

The visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan S. Japarov to Mongolia on July 9-11 at the invitation of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh ended.

On July 9, after the official meeting ceremony of the leaders of the two countries in Ulaanbaatar, negotiations were held in narrow and expanded formats.

The heads of state discussed topical issues of the Kyrgyz-Mongolian bilateral and multilateral cooperation and identified priorities for joint cooperation in the future.

Particular attention was paid to trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian issues.

Following the talks, Sadr Japarov and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh signed a Joint Declaration on the establishment of friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia.

Also during the state visit, a number of documents were signed aimed at further development of the Kyrgyz-Mongolian bilateral cooperation.

On the same day, the head of state met with Prime Minister Luvsannamsrayn Oyun-Erdene and Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Gombojavin Zandanshalatar.

On the second day of the state visit, President Japarov visited the Erdenet state enterprise located in the city of the same name. The enterprise is considered the largest enterprise for the extraction and enrichment of copper-molybdenum ores in Asia.

The head of state inspected the quarry and factory of the plant, where copper-molybdenum concentrate exported abroad is produced.

During the visit to the plant, the Kyrgyz delegation received information about the technical and technological transformations of the plant, in particular, about the experience of Mongolia in using advanced technologies for extracting copper from the ore of the Erdenet deposit. Considering that there are no factories and technologies for extracting copper from gold-copper concentrates in Kyrgyzstan, this experience interested the Kyrgyz side.

In the evening of the same day, Sadr Japarov and his wife Aigul Japarova visited the Genghis Khan Museum in Ulaanbaatar.

On the last day of the state visit, the opening of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Ulaanbaatar took place.

In addition, the President and the First Lady took part in the opening ceremony of the national holiday of Mongolia - Naadam.

On the evening of July 11, Sadir Japarov, who completed his official visit to Mongolia, returned to Bishkek.
