Participants of the project "Russian teacher abroad" arrived in Tajikistan

Teachers of the Russian Federation will teach the Russian language to schoolchildren in Tajikistan and introduce them to Russian culture as part of a humanitarian mission

The first participants of the Russian Teacher Abroad project in the new academic year arrived in Tajikistan.

This is reported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic.

It is noted that 6 teachers have already begun active preparations for September 1.

Thus, teachers will have to work at the elementary institute "Arkon" in Khujand.

Some teachers went abroad for the first time to teach Russian to foreign students and introduce them to Russian culture, the source stressed.

“As soon as I found out about the project, I filled out the questionnaire without hesitation. I am a primary school teacher. I am very interested in getting a new experience,” shared one of the project participants.

"Russian teacher abroad" is an opportunity for teachers to participate in the humanitarian mission of the Russian Federation.

Russia donates humanitarian aid to Tajikistan

Recall that in 2017 Tajikistan became the first country to participate in the humanitarian project "Russian Teacher Abroad".
