Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a conversation with the Federal Minister of Austria

On February 16, 2023, a meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with Alexander Schallenberg, Federal Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of Austria, was held in the format of a videoconference. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Austria. During the meeting, representatives of the two states noted the importance of bilateral visits and negotiations at the highest and high level in expanding the areas of constructive partnership.

Rashid Meredov stressed that relations between the countries are successfully strengthened through participation in the activities of international organizations, in particular, the UN and the OSCE. Also, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan proposed specific measures to develop and strengthen trade and economic relations, stressing the important role of business circles in this process.
