Man arrested for beating wife, shaving her head in Syrdarya
Earlier, we reported that a man in Syrdarya beat his wife and shaved her head, and a criminal case was opened against the man. The man worked as a teacher at a school and lived with 2 women on a shared basis. The victim was his first legal wife and the mother of 5 children. The man, accusing her of texting with strange men while drunk, subjected her to both mental and physical abuse, tied her up for three days, taped her mouth shut, and starved her for three days.
The court sentenced the man to 2 years and 6 months in prison for this act.
