The Ministry of Economic Development of Tajikistan summed up the results of the first half of 2023 and named the data and main indicators of economic growth

In Tajikistan, the volume of gross domestic product (GDP) for the first 6 months of 2022 is estimated at 54.2 billion somoni.

This was stated by a representative of the Ministry of Economic Development of the country at the reporting press conference.

This is 8 billion somoni more than the same indicator for 2022.

Thus, according to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan, the growth rate of the national economy was ensured primarily by an increase in fixed capital financing - it increased by 27.1%, as well as transportation - by 13.7%.

The volume of trade turnover of the republic increased by 11.8%.

Also, the economy of Tajikistan received support due to the development of industrial production. Here the growth was 10.3%.

The country's agrarians increased the output of agricultural products by 7.9%, and the volume of services increased by 5.5%.

Earlier, the Eurasian Development Bank recorded a slowdown in inflation in Tajikistan. EBRD experts predicted Tajikistan's GDP growth for 2023-2024 by 7.5% in 2023.
