Chairman of the Armenian Parliament: Meeting of Foreign Ministers in Washington can lead to progress

"Negotiations between Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, which will be held in Washington, may lead to progress."

Report informs, Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan told reporters at a briefing.

"We can expect progress from the negotiations, because the negotiations are going on quite intensively, the proposals and discussions of both sides are yielding results. The Armenian side agrees with some formulations, as well as the Azerbaijani side. At the moment, I see that there is progress," Simonyan said .

It should be noted that tomorrow, on June 27, D. Bayramov will meet with A. Mirzoyan in the US capital Washington. The parties are scheduled to hold the next round of negotiations on the draft "Bilateral Agreement on Peace and the Establishment of Interstate Relations".
