For violation of environmental standards in the city of Talas, state-owned enterprises and citizens were fined almost 81 thousand soms. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision.

According to her, road service company No. 19 was fined 28 thousand soms under Article 230 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic for air pollution and unauthorized burning of tires.

Road service company No. 6 was fined 13 thousand soms in accordance with Article 239 of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic for illegally excavating soil on the surface of a mountain with an excavator and removing it by public transport.

A resident of Talas illegally cut down five poplars growing on the territory of the Ken-Aral village administration of the Bakai-Ata district. As a result, he paid 39 thousand 928 soms for damages.

The total amount of fines imposed was 80 thousand 928 soms.
