Book exhibition in honor of the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fraghi opened in Lebap velayat of Turkmenistan

A book exhibition timed to the 300th birthday anniversary of great Turkmen thinker, philosopher and poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi was opened in the municipal library of Chardjevo District, Lebap province. This was reported in the Neutral Turkmenistan daily newspaper.

The Farabi city library with two branches serves all the settlements on the right bank of the Amu Darya in Chardjevo etrap. The library fund contains more than 63 thousand books.

The library staff has made a plan of events dedicated to the significant date, and the book exhibition is the first of them. Visitors of the exhibition can get acquainted with poetry collections, the publication of which belongs to different years of the great poet's life. Also at the exposition are scientific and popular science journalistic works devoted to the life and work of the great thinker of the East.

Schoolchildren and teachers from Farab's secondary schools were the first to see the exhibition.
