A pilot project to automate centers for the provision of special social services started in East Kazakhstan region

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova and the akim of the East Kazakhstan region Ermek Kosherbaev signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on transforming the activities of centers for the provision of special social services (CSSS), the press service of the Ministry of Labor reports.

The message notes that it provides for the implementation of a pilot project to automate internal processes in the Central Social Security Service. The use of digital technologies will improve efficiency and transparency, as well as improve the quality of services provided. It will involve 10 COSSUs covering more than 2,100 recipients of special social benefits

“The use of digital technologies will make it possible to automatically monitor and document the implementation of all procedures, standards and requirements in the provision of social services, which, in turn, will contribute to strict compliance with the law and increase transparency in work. In the future, it is planned to scale the project to other regions,” – said Svetlana Zhakupova.

The East Kazakhstan region has become the second region where such a project will be implemented. Since September, a similar pilot started in the Karaganda region. services.

The project will use a special information system that ensures the automation of all processes of the CSSCS activity:

provision of special medical and social services,

conducting individual rehabilitation programs,

budget and maintenance of centers,

inventory accounting,

personnel employment issues,

etc.

The project will include training for CSSCS employees to work with the information system.
