Юные футболисты из Казахстана были госпитализированы в Ташкенте после отравления.

Young football players from Kazakhstan, who had arrived in Tashkent to participate in the "Dostlik Cup 2026" international football festival, have suffered from food poisoning. This was reported by Kazinform.

According to the mother of one of the players, symptoms of poisoning appeared in the children following breakfast on October 30. By the following evening, many of the children were experiencing fever, diarrhea, and vomiting. In total, 11 individuals fell ill, and some of the players were unable to participate in the final matches. Parents suspect that the children’s condition may have been caused by the breakfast served at the hotel. However, the cause of the poisoning has not yet been officially confirmed.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, those requiring assistance have been admitted to specialized medical facilities in Uzbekistan, where they are receiving the necessary medical care. Kazakhstani diplomats remain in contact with the affected individuals and their families. Arrangements are being made to transport the players—whose conditions have since stabilized—back to their home country by air.
