The driver who committed the mass accident was registered in a psychiatric hospital

Earlier, we reported that the driver of a Cobalt car committed a mass accident on Shota Rustaveli Street in the Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent. The Internal Affairs Directorate provided official information about the incident.

According to it, the incident occurred on June 11 at around 9:30 p.m. The 44-year-old driver, who was registered in a psychiatric hospital, violated traffic rules and, failing to comply with the lawful request of the internal affairs officers to stop, continued to drive and caused technical damage to several vehicles.

After that, in order to prevent harm to other citizens, the officers used their service weapons to shoot at the wheel of the car and the car was stopped in this way. An investigation is underway into the incident, pending investigation.
